Fenner Dunlop building new plant, adding jobs
Atlanta, February 2007 – Fenner Dunlop Conveyor Belting Americas, a subsidiary of the UK-based Fenner PLC and manufacturer of industrial products made with reinforced polymers, is building a new manufacturing plant to replace its existing operations. The new plant will be built in Hart County and will not only represent an investment of US$50 million, but will also preserve more than 150 jobs and add 30 more over the next three years.
Alex Houston, VP of Atlanta Operations, said, “The knowledge in the community, from the extensive textile base that once existed, contains many of the same skill sets necessary to help Fenner Dunlop maintain its reputation as provider of the highest quality industrial conveyor belts in the world.”
